I read your log with both amusement and frustration. Having been involved with Junior Achievement as a student, volunteer and staff for over 40 years now I can sympathise with your situation. I am glad to read that even amid your frustration that you were able to keep a sense of humor about it. Rest assured that you are making a real difference in those kids lives. I guess the lesson learned here is that your teacher needs the concepts taught in JA as much as the kids do so its a good thing you’re there.
K. is a blogger. She writes in her blog because she is so vain that she loves it when other people read her ramblings. She fancies herself to be a writer but that "novel" in her head has yet to make it past the first chapter. For now, this little blog is the closest thing she's got to being published (other than that poem she wrote for her high school year book). She'll take that.
BEAN: The First Sun. Born July 2005 and instantly brightened K's world. That is what sons do. He is the big boy and he OWNS that title. He's extremely articulate and has really come out of his shell. He is brilliant and boisterous and beautiful.
ANT: The Second Sun. Born January 2007 and glows just as bright as his brother. He has finally decided to start talking, even though no one can understand him but K. He is generally in a happy mood with an agreeable disposition. Which is a good thing because sometimes his big brother wants to knock him out of his position in the sky.
Dear K.,
I read your log with both amusement and frustration.
Keep up the great work!
